HINDUSTANI SANGEET

A journey into the classical music of North India

Angelo Sorato, Bansuri Flute
Fabio Lazzarin, Tabla

Join us for an unforgettable evening when the musical tradition of North India comes to life through Hindustani Sangeet, classical music rooted in centuries of history, spirituality and refinement. The concert will be a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the deep and mysterious sounds of raga, an experience that touches the soul, an emotional journey that explores the interconnection between music and the rhythm of life.

To make this evening even more special, we will accompany the music with a sampling of traditional Indian cuisine, celebrating the authentic flavors and culinary artistry of the subcontinent.

Angelo Sorato, at Bansuri, one of the most interesting and versatile flutists on the Italian scene who graduated from the Vicenza Conservatory of Music, and Fabio Lazzarin, on the Tabla, a leading exponent of Indian percussion and trained at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Venice and a student of Sankha Chatterjee.
